The Administrator
of Aluta Amnesty of Nigeria on Saturday joined other well meaning Nigerians in
condemning the unlawful act committed by a level200 student of the University
of Port Harcourt.
Men of
the Okporo Police Station has paraded one Mr. Ifeanyi Chukwu Maxwell Dike a 23yrs
old 200level student of the University of Port-Harcourt of for manslaughter. The
suspect who reside at Messiah Street Eliozu Port Harcourt was arrested for
abducting and slaughtering of a young girl. The 8yrs old female victim who has
been identified as Chikamso Victory also reside in the same residence.
The
ugly incident which took place on the 19th of August at about
0130hrs, has it that the little girl was abducted, defiled and killed, while
her vagina, eyes, tongue and breast were removed and put in a polythene bag.
The suspect was going to dispose of the body, when he was arrested by the local
Vigilante that suspected his movement. On being questioned the suspect dropped
the bag and took to flight. Consequently he was given a hot chase and arrested.
On
further interrogation by the Police, he confessed and took the Police to where
the vital organs were concealed. The body and the organs have been recovered,
paraded and deposited in the mortuary.
Currently,
the suspect remains in the police custody for further interrogations until the
investigations surrounding the ugly manic is fully uncovered.
