This is Mary, a fresh university of Calabar graduate. She was buried today 2nd February, 2019 which should have been her wedding day on her wedding dress.
Mary is a fresh graduate of History and International Studies from the university of Calabar, who died in a motor accident on the 28th of January, 2019, on her way to her hometown for her traditional wedding rites, just a few days to her wedding.
It is heart-rending to hear such news of an end of a promising future and a beautiful young lady.
Some blame this on evil people but death comes to everyone at time they mostly do not expect it.
Nigerian roads are also a very dangerous death traps and the politicians are adamant about it.
Mary is one in thousands of Nigerians who die daily on horrendous Nigerian roads on monthly basis.
May the soul of Mary rest in peace.
